How it is saved
The code holds a BEGIN:VEVENT block in the iCalendar standard. Android cameras and most QR apps offer "Add to calendar" right away. The iPhone Camera app may show event codes as plain text, so the QRink scanner offers a button that saves an .ics file.
Times are stored as local time on the reader's device. For online events with an international audience, mention the time zone in the description.
